Phoenix series

Phoenix Series Products No-Login Activation Instructions

Overview:

The latest versions of certain products within the Phoenix series have introduced a new method for device activation. Previously, activation was conducted via email to generate an account. However, it has now transitioned to email verification, allowing activation of multiple devices with a single email.

Applicable Products:

Phoenix Lite 2/Plus/Elite/Smart/Max/Remote

Prerequisites:

Ensure that the APK is updated to the latest version:
Phoenix Lite 2: V1.2.8
Phoenix Plus: V1.4.0
Phoenix Elite: V1.3.6
Phoenix Smart: V1.3.2
Phoenix Max: V1.2.8
Phoenix Remote: V1.4.6

1. Upon booting, proceed to set the language, connect to WIFI, and set the time zone. Read and select the registration terms (refer to Figures 1-4).

2. Enter the activation page, input the VCI's serial number (SN), a valid email address, and then click on "CAPTCHA" to obtain the verification code (refer to Figure 5).

3. Input the verification code obtained from the valid email, then click "OK" to complete the activation process. (Refer to Figures 6-7)

Note:

1. Phoenix Pro continues to use the previous activation method and remains unchanged for now.
2. The APK on inventory machines may not be the latest version. Before activation, it is supported to upgrade the APK to the latest version, but software updates for vehicle models are not supported.
3. After the device is activated, there is no need to log in with an account/password again after clearing the cache or restoring factory settings.
4. For devices with older factory versions that have been activated, clearing the cache, or restoring factory settings may prompt the activation page to appear. In this case, simply input any valid email to activate, which will not change the original activation time. (This issue does not affect newly manufactured devices.)
5. If there is a change in the main unit or VCI, synchronize the new and old SN information with TOPDON technical support. After the transfer is completed on the backend, simply clear the cache on the device side; there is no need to uninstall all vehicle model software and reinstall.
