RLink Platform Installation, Account Registration and Device Activation Steps
(For RLink Lite and RLink J2534)
Unzip the software package →
Double-click the package to install →
Register (if you have registered an account on the RLink Lite, you can directly log in) →
Fill in the information →
Log in to the account →
Bind and activate the device
2. Double-click the software to install.
Note:
For computers with high security, a prompt requiring administrator rights will appear when opening the driver, simply click Yes.
It is recommended to disable antivirus software during installation. Because RLink Platform is the driver management platform for OEM software. It may be mistakenly removed by antivirus software. This driver will not have any adverse effects on the computer.
3. Click Login to the Account as shown in the figure below, and the login page will appear. Click Sign Up to register an account.
4. Follow the instructions to sign up your TOPDON account.
4.1 Enter your commonly used email address.
4.2 Click Verification Code. Then enter the verification code received in your email (email verification information, as shown in Figure 4.7)
4.3 Enter a password you can remember.
4.4 Enter the password you set again.
4.5 Read the User Agreement and Privacy Policy carefully and check the Accept box.
4.6 Click Sign Up. Registered successfully. It will jump to the login page.
5. Enter the account and password you registered. Then click Login to login to the RLink Platform. You can also click Email Code to login with the Email code.
6. Connect the RLink device and PC with OEM software. Click Bind and Activate. Then click Activate in the pop-up window.
Note:
For RLink Lite, the activation information will be displayed only when connected to a power source or the vehicle’s DLC.
For RLink J2534, the activation information will be displayed when connected to a PC with OEM software.
7. After the RLink device is successfully bound to the RLink Platform account, enter Driver Management to download the driver.
OEM Software Driver Download and Settings
After the device is activated, download the specific driver for the OEM diagnostic software. (Note: To avoid driver incompatibility, do not download drivers that are not related to the OEM software.)
Check for updates before downloading the driver. Click the settings icon and click About software. Check for updates. (Click update if there is an available version) →
Go to Driver Management > Driver Download to download the driver →
Choose the specific driver for the OEM diagnostic software →
Check the driver information →
Choose the driver mode according to the vehicle or VCI information →
1. Follow the order below to check if there is an available update for RLink Platform. Click Update if there is an available version.
3. Click Driver Management > Driver Info after the driver is downloaded. Then click to open the driver you just downloaded and choose the corresponding driver mode as prompted. Then connect the RLink device to the vehicle, open the OEM software to start diagnostics. For example, for BMW F/G chassis models, select RLink Lite ENET (F/G). Then open the OEM software for diagnostics.
