Problem description:

The vehicle fails to be started when conencting the device.

Tourbleshoot:

1) Poor contact with the clamp. Please disconnect the clamps and reconnect.

2) Whether the power level of the device is higher than 50% (below 50% cannot start the vehicle).

3) Before attempting to start the vehicle, you need to make sure that you have turned off all power loads to the vehicle, including headlights, radio, air conditioning, etc.

4) The battery is completely dead, you need to manually switch boost mode for forced output.

5) The vehicle's self-starting system is malfunctioning, such as issues with the alternator or starter motor. It can be verified by attempting to start the vehicle using a jumper connection with another vehicle's battery.

6) The engine displacement exceeds the starting range supported by the device (such as JS1200, which only supports a maximum of 6.5L gasoline or 4L diesel engines).

7) The vehicle's battery is 24V. Please note that the device does not support starting vehicles with a 24V battery.

8) If the first attempt to start the engine is unsuccessful, please disconnect the clamp from the car battery and wait for at least 20 seconds before reconnecting. Do not attempt more than 3 consecutive jump starts within 2-minute.

9) If all of the above has been confirmed and the vehicles still cannot be started, please provide a complete video of how you started the vehicle, send it to support@topdon.com, our engineers will confirm and provide solution effectively.
